Whoa wait

Something about memory loss in another thread...

What if every time someone uses a Root transporter or another type of portal, that contributes to their memory loss? With all those researchers making jumps between locations, it would explain why their memories deteriorate so quickly. Think about it.
Sub 4 is fake. It's only a playground made by Mur. The memory loss stuff is just artificial.

How do we know it's artificial?

He means (I think,) that it was all staged. Entire Sub_4 and possibly 3.

Yeah, I know what he meant, I just don't see the reason why it was. (Playing Devil's advocate a bit here)

Murtaugh stated at the end of The Lab, that it was a test, some notes later in the series suggest people doubting truthfulness of notes in sub4 and finally notes refer to things that are never mentioned afterwards, such as the company, alien forms of life, or memory loss. All of this implies that notes in The Lab were written by Murtagh and had no connection to so called reality of the composition.

So memory loss wasn't actually real, it was just instated for the testing.

Not Mur's Playground, the Submachine playground.
Mur was dead 742 years ago.

No, not true.
The Raptor mention in Sub 9.
Everyone who work in the lab where one dimensional.

Okay, I'm still gonna hold by my theory that teleporters cause memory loss for now...

If that is the case, might it have something to do with the Players origin story?
He had to have entered the Basement at some point, might explain his amnesia.
