I can't find the quote, but someone said how the game is not for walkthroughs hints and tricks, I agree.
Back when Sub 9 came out, I tried my best to stay away from walkthroughs and hints for the first play through. I only got so far.

My hopes is to finish the game without the help of walkthroughs during the first play through.

Sub9 was pretty easy to figure out, only trouble I had was finding the valve and kept using that handle on the broken ladder rung, which you actually use to get that secret. Oh and missing the secret near Elizabeth's tomb, where you press the button in that hole to pop it out.
