I'm listening to our university's new radio channel. It's on air until the first of May.
The program is more or less funkadelic.
(1st of May (Vappu) is one of the biggest student party days in Finland. Kinda like spring break in the States.)

Yes, I'm aware of that.
We call it Vappu here in Finland.

That should be fun, -ak-!

I guess I should expect this by putting my resume on Monster.com, but I got a call from an Oakland, CA cell phone looking for a Drafter in the Miami area.

1) I'm about an hour and a half from Miami itself.
2) It's 8 PM on a Thursday...(meaning about 4 PM or 5 PM there, but still)
3) It was a foreign voice and I didn't even understand what company he was calling for. Neither did my Mom.

Interesting.

Hmm.

We get these really irritating people from (well, I think Indian English Accent) claiming to be from the Windows Checkup Branch of Windows Incorporated, and our computer might be broken. Duh....
So, normally by the time they start mentioning the viruses or whatnot, the phone line is broken by us.
Then again, once in a while, we pretend to be interested.
They go on for about seven minutes, then ask for our account details.

Well, this is the funny part. My uncle was around that time, and he said to them, "please ring me back at {Mobile Phone} and ask for [my uncle]. Then when the mobile rang, he handed it to me and I pretended tone Dtongri Baba's Pizza Shop (old school joke. Don't ask) and then we forced a 'pizza' on him, and asked for his bank account details.

He hung up.

Now, if you think we were being unfair, let me just say this-

We have a Mac. :)

Oh yes, another time my dad gave them the police hot line.
