We've had the option to bring our own computers to school for certain classes, but there's no way I'm ever going to do that here. That's a great way to get robbed.

I'm just over a semester into college, and the more I learn here the more I realize how ass backwards a lot of the teaching methods in grade school were. Most of them seem to believe that science is a series of facts and figures that are true because, well, it's science, so it has to be, and that's what's taught to everyone, and what is generally believed among the populace as a result. It's honestly the reason why so many people feel that "it just isn't for them", or even worse, that it's "lame" or even that it's outright lies.
