Submachine Universe
Re: Submachine Universe
Congrats to Rulo and WorldisQuiet to having your very own locations. Now you're officially one of us
I have to say that WorldisQuiet's locations are hilariously instant classics because of those cameras

Wow, just when I think the Submachine can't get any more amazing, something like this happens.
I'm not a latin popstar.

oh, ok, i see. i think gravis can also mean "serious" like a serious matter, then it's correctWorldisQuiet5256 wrote:Pulsaris wrote:gravis as a translation of "key" is not quite something I can approve of.I was worried about, so I email a Language Professor at my College, and she said its right.OnyxIonVortex wrote:yeah, it means "heavy" (like in "gravity"). "key" is "clavis".
Her explanation was:
So its Correct.I had Latin more than twenty years ago, so I may be mistaken, but I think that "key" translates to "clavis." Then, we are talking about a "regular use" key - to open the house, the room, etc.
If we are using "key" in a bigger, metaphorical meaning - key to open one's hear for example, it is "gravis." It seems the translation of the quote is correct.

Re: Submachine Universe
about Subnet in HD, what is Mateusz gonna do about the theories?
i don't think there will be any problem, but i just had a thought that some people might be concerned that their theories/drawings will be put to commercial use or something.
on the other hand, people won't really be paying for the theories when they'll buy the HD, because the content is already free online, they'll be paying for the HD art and the ambients. but i'm not sure about which status/licenses has the user-created content inside a game anyways. some sort of... creative commons, i guess?

Re: Submachine Universe
Question: Will the ambients for each location be available for download when I buy SubVerse HD? That's a lot of sound file-age.
Not that that's a bad thing...I would love to listen to the SubAmbient for hours on end if I could

no, they won't be sold.
only music created specifically for submachine by thumpmonks can be sold. that's sub2 - sub9.

Re: Submachine Universe
so that's why there's no soundtrack in sub1 HD, then. it was expectable, i guess

Do we know who created sub1 soundtrack?
Re: Submachine Universe
Btw, when will Thumpmonks get their site back up and running? I want to buy their full-length tracks but it seems their Squarespace has expired. Anyone know anything about it?
