As an art critic... You could make the point where the hill split into two on the left side bit more tapered. As it currently looks, it is quite jarring in contrast to the work's overall organic quality.
Totally agree with you on that. That's one of the main reasons I agreed with my teacher about not submitting it, it does interrupt the flow of direction quite a bit.

You referenced Dante's Inferno, and I remember doing some research about Limbo after the game came out, and I learned a lot about the circles of Hell and all that. Not something I believe in, but really interesting to read about and look at diagrams and such.
If you ever played LIMBO, I would love to see something related to that
No, I have not played Limbo, but I have seen a walkthrough of it.
I been meaning to read the whole Divine Comedy, and I'm waiting for a book to come it.
Also, love your hills with color. It reminds me of "The Painted Desert."

It is also easy to fix.
Just add a smoother edge to that point and you would have a stronger piece there!

I would, but I'm too lazy to fix it. (not to mention, I'm planning out my next Submachine poster in charcoal...)
Well here's something different. I've found this style to be quite fun. A bunch of artists have used Sharpie techniques which I adore.
B06: "Mandala" - Sharpie - 14" x 14"
I extended this my graduation cap design as well:

Very cool. I like to draw with Sharpie, too.

if you're good with sharpie you might make a good tattoo artist.

Someone told me that before, and I've often drawn designs via pen on my arms and hands before. But I wouldn't want to have actual tattoos/tattoo anyone.
