Totally agree with you on that. That's one of the main reasons I agreed with my teacher about not submitting it, it does interrupt the flow of direction quite a bit.As an art critic... You could make the point where the hill split into two on the left side bit more tapered. As it currently looks, it is quite jarring in contrast to the work's overall organic quality.

You referenced Dante's Inferno, and I remember doing some research about Limbo after the game came out, and I learned a lot about the circles of Hell and all that. Not something I believe in, but really interesting to read about and look at diagrams and such.
