Well, that would be the worst, wouldn't it.
What if Mur didn't "invade" the Loop system, he just ended up there after trying to escape from the lighthouse? He could have easily created the leaf portal after figuring out that the Loop would endlessly go on forever

With his karma arm, probably. It's a very weak thought, but because you have to use a leaf to get out of the loop, I thought Mur made that portal because he came from the third layer. The only confirmed third layer location is the Cog Trees, which contains pretty similar-looking leaves on the tree branches.

That makes sense, I'd never thought about the relation between the leaf and the Cog Trees.

I just wonder how he can so easily create separate portals. Statue, leaf...
I underestimated his powers in this case...

Naw, but seriously...
I think he can create separate portals so easily because he's so experienced in wielding karmic energy. He can channel his thoughts to make objects like he wants them to,
"Be the witness of your thoughts"

But isn't it makes him... God?
And at the same time, he couldn't alone fight with Subnet and its defense systems... These 32 years...

No, it doesn't.
I had that kind of feeling.
More over, it was the leaf that help you escape and defeat the machine.
Sounded Poetic, but yeah.
Mur wanted to Leave the Lighthouse, he himself, admitted he didn't know where he will end up.
Knowing if he kept solving the puzzles would lead him to his death, he found a small window that allowed him to escape.

Now it's me who has a question XD
I'm translating the Sub3 HD notes.
What does "every other cycle" mean? One cycle yes, one cycle no? Or just every cycle?
