As mr. Stick can see, this shaft is DEFINITELY longer than shaft between CACHE ROOM and CHEST ROOM, or than mini-shaft in PEDESTAL ROOM. But mr. Stick thinks he can see bottom.
At the same time, shaft is wide enough for Steve, so he can descend through it. BUT there isn't any wall ladder, so...

Phew... I had to edit my last 3 pictures of CLOCK ROOM, because I missed tiny detail. Position of small cache door. Glad I noticed it in time! :D

Ok. But there is one problem: mr. Stick almost keeps second end of rope. He should find how to tie/attach rope closer to hatch.

use that hook sticking out of the ground. the one that appears olny when the "train" is slid down the right tracks.

Nice idea.

Mr. Stick goes to Pedestal Room and returns other side of the rope. Even after freeing lever down the hole, hatch in Clock Room didn't closed. It is good news.
So, he returns to south room and uses handle of rope to put it on floor hook. He checks it on safety and strength.



It seems everything is OK. It should support his weight, and shouldn't get off from the hook.

Yeah, shaft is long down. Mr. Stick feels himself uncomfortable and tensely.
He tries to not look down very often.

Go down and try to not look down.
