rushed? to me it was more like. unnecessarily extended. they could've done it in a smaller number of movies
also the last movie. like half of it being made by computer graphics. the battle looked like gameplay to me. with azog versus thorin being a boss battle. there were some interesting cool scenes or moments but mostly it was just. woo fight look how epic this battle is wowow so cooool

that's what everybody talks about.
So, this extension made film much worse, as everyone expected?

I'd like to introduce the director David Lynch to everyone who doesn't know him yet, because the mood of his movies is not far from Submachine's.
You could easily describe them as "moving paintings", because they absolutely don't rely on usual film logic or a stringent plotline. There usually
is one, but it is told in such a subliminal and non-chronological way that you have to pay attention to small hints in order to get it.
What the movies focus on instead is the very mysterious, eerie and nightmarish atmosphere as well as the impacts of human faults that are shown and interpreted.
So, some call his movies "artsy-fartsy", but they are more than that.

My dad and I try to watch eraser Head.
He tried several times to make it to the end.
He still hasn't yet.
Also, not as to beat down on thus guy work, but my dad told me how back when Eraserhead came out in theaters, people watch it while getting high. I can see that being the case.

I'm afraid I don't see a connection between beating Lynchs movies down and people watching eraserhead while being high. Would you explain that?

Its true.
It had optical illusions, many small cooked chickens on a pan still flapping their wings, a dried up old women like a mummy sitting in a rocking chair while a mother takes a bowl of salad, placing it in her lap, placing two wooden spoons in her hand, and moving her arms to stir the salad in the bowl.
And it was the back then man.
Everything, as long as it had the right effect in a movie, are sometimes thought to create some experience unique to it.
Here a few pictures from the Movie 300.
See?
See?
