well, at least now I *think* know how we "untied" the Loop
you were going to layer 5.
on the way - you fell into the portal within the portal that changed your direction and threw you into the dimensional knot that you had to untie in order to move forward.
now ask me again, how sub8 mirrors sub3. -__-
And as I understand, the loop are the same for all layers? (as Temple)

You see, both the sub3 and sub4 statues emit white energy.
They must be time machines.

that's true...
my head hurts thinking about what would that mean for the plot :S
Unrelated: we now have 7 HDs
The complete collection wouldn't fit in my comp at normal size XD

err, Mateusz...
why does
02_sub_3_intro song from soundtrack is Sub4's menu/596 ambient? O_o
Also:
1) ending's music doesn't fit with ending's animation (it plays with delay)
2) the same bug as in Sub9: After finishing the game menu's ambience turns off after some seconds.

@Vortex: remember...
[...] The Fourth Dynasty at the peak of it's cultural and technological development was able to create first man-made submachine structure. That was around the beginning of twentieth century and is now considered the birthdate of the outer rim. Those first structures were merely flawed copies of the original structures, but in time they grew into something completely autonomous. Attempts to chart new territories failed miserably leaving the vast submachine wilderness to it's own. [...]
were merely flawed copies of the original structures
jk
@WorldIsQuiet:
My apologies, man. I thought you just joked about that notes. But now...
Sorry.

And last: why there is password for first level now?..

Notice how each Sub's main screen features a new teleportation device (Loop machine, XYZ Mover, Cipher Plate Mover, Pod-Thingy Which Name I Just Forgot, Layer Device) except for Sub7 (Puzzle-ish table that merely activates a part of the ambient) and Sub9 (Shiva statue? Perhaps could count as teleportation device as the Light of Shiva?)
THE UNKNOWINGNESS OF UNKNOWNINGNITY.

Portal door would be fit in Sub7 main screen. :D

Discuss about four new notes?

Well, at least one its not new. They seem to tell us more about the structure of the Loop, that caught me, but also caught me the existence of a new "character", that woman who went lost in the Loop.

Let's look at them:
1)
- Lines are turning into mess... Does it mean author was losing his energy, slowly dying?
- "He said"??? O_o
It sounds like someone (ahem) sent him there.
Purpose? Well, it reminds me about that note from Sub8 where one man says he was in the loop and this place has the same purpose as knot...
2)
First and third strings are understandable. But second one...
What does it mean? He means navigator, right?
what and how the hell it should "reappear"? O_o
3)
What can I say...
THANK YOU, MATEUSZ!!! Thanks for this note!
THAT is why early Submachines are CREEPY-HORROR games. When I read this note, I again feel true nature of Loop, of this trap that makes people be lost forever.
And nobody sees them again...
4)
WHAT
IS
THIS
NOTE
DOING
HERE?
O_o
