...One thing I don't get yet. Why do exist seven answers to a question?

You can check if you're playing the old version if it says "DOCKING SCHEDUAL" instead of "SCHEDULE". If so, reload the page with Ctrl+F5.
It is saying "SCHEDULE", but I don't think the bug is fixed in the online version yet.

Can somebody just screencap this "ladder calling" thing for me, since I think I won't see it. I am not going to waste another half hour to replay the game.

Jatsko,
OOO is most likely Layer 8 since we arrived at the NGD from the White Portal from Sub9. However it would be easy to say it is NOT Layer 8 because we don't see the white particles. (I offered an explanation for this but I'm not sure how much I like it) If this is true then the Sub10 basement, the infernal basement, the Basement Exit, the Lighthouse, and the Metal Section also all take place in Layer 8.
Pretty sure OOO is Layer 1 judging from Sub8's layer machine

Image

The Core is in Layer 1, and the lighthouse is part of the core, which is what we used to escape the Submachine. We start off in Layer 1 in Sub8, not Layer 5 like we assumed from the end of Sub7. That gigantic green portal was merely a portal that transported us well into the future, not another layer. Also I think the green color dictates that it was stabilized after Murtaugh became focused again.

In Sub10 we arrive at the northern garden docks of the core, just as we visited the southern garden of the core in Sub7.
IOO could be any Layer, especially since it only links to a loop location.
I think this could be Layer 8. Why? Because notes between Sub9 and Sub10 point out that the layer of light traps people. We know the loop traps people. We know Murtaugh was trapped in the loop, we were trapped in the loop. Even a note in Sub10 says that Murtaugh was trapped in the layer of light.
- That's the layer of Light. You see, when you move through the field of atoms frozen in time, the friction causes them to emit visible light. It's everywhere you move. It's not a guiding light. You're the one who's guiding that light. Where you will go is entirely up to you.
- And what about those in the eighth layer?
The important thing to remember is that as there are seven main layers, all stable, as all their sub-layers, there is also the eighth layer, known as the layer of light, which is not stable and it can float freely through all other layers. Murtaugh was trapped in the eighth layer once
Seven layers, with an eighth that encompasses the seven, their sub-layers and travels freely through them, causing time anomalies and loops.

Alright, so where does that put IOI?

(And we're using this thread then?)

Possibly the 5th Layer since the architecture is quite similar to what we saw in Sub_8.

C'mon. There could be different architectures within Layer.

Do you know magical place called Earth?

:P
