Well, if you look hard enough, the message 'the statue was a beamer' is encoded into the digits of pi.

if pi contains every finite sequence of numbers, one of them will be the encoded version of that phrase

I don't think the statue is a beamer though... none of the beamers we have seen act as teleporters.

After getting the X/Y navigator, go right then up.
Look for yourself.

The same can be said for the statue in Sub 4, in the new HD ending.
It doesn't look like a Beamer, yet it it makes that noise when you activate it.
