Snarr: I'm surprised you actually dented the door. Since this was a fuel warehouse, that door probably had to stand up to fires and stuff.
You: Now you tell.

See if the lock is fimiliar and if you know how to open it. If you don't, put your hand on the grey square next to the door. If that also fails, ask Snarr if he knows how to open it.

Inventory!

You don't see any locks. So you put your hand on the grey square and it opens.

You: Should've thought of that earlier.
Snarr: Good. Now I can take off my hood.
You: Why do you even wear it?
Snarr: I'm albino, if you didn't notice. My skin's very sensitive.
You: Oh. Right.

(Perhaps 'ilsva' sealed it up knowing that you would come along.
Perhaps it scans the contents and triggers something?)

As Snarr pushes the "Up" Arrow on the (supposed) Elevator, ask why they rebuilt the Base.
