So I take it this month's theme is simply "submachine"?

what program did you use?
Same program I use to draw BEAST, good old Expression Design (which is free now btw).
But you can easily reproduce it in any vector program such as Inkscape, the tools are very very similar to what we see Mateusz use in Flash.

Thanks! but the credit goes to Mateusz really, his livestreams are a very good learning source

Don't worry, that's okay. The contest will be mainly for fun after all so its not like prizes are essential
Anyways I just had a thought, for Submachine-themed competitions we could take the winning fanarts and send them when he requests stuff for Submachine Universe, with the authors' permission. This could also be a sort of prize for people who want it, and it also ensures that Mateusz gets sent what the community thinks is good.

That's a very neat idea, I think people who will choose to participate would like it.

Then it's decided
I think Mateusz may like the idea too.
For the moment that will be the list of prizes then, if at some point we have more ideas we can add them in next issues of the contest. Now the only thing left is to setup the page and make an official announcement to encourage participation from people in other platforms, as Sublevel said we could benefit from Jatsko's help.

I'll see if I can get a small video out this week about it.
