Plus, Mateusz created a great pyramid.
Those square holes we find along the edge of the wall,
The Pyramid of Giza has those. They are air vents.

“Normally it is not polite to go into somebody’s room without knocking, but you can make an exception if the person is dead, or pretending to be dead.”
― Lemony Snicket, Horseradish.

This quote is completely appropriate for going into Mur's and Liz's tombs, wouldn't you say?

...Remind me again how do you use spoiler tags on here?

Finished the game! :D

BTW:

Thats the mover from Sub5-6, how it ended there in Layer 3 and all like that?

From what I know we came from Layer 1, as Sub7-8 shown, but Mur is from Layer 3.

EDIT: Also, It appears that the "Knot" was where Mur was trapped (being in all the Layers at the same time), and he went to the Temple, thats is almost the same in each Layer (Knot location), to untie the things.

Make your text white. It's on the right of the text box in the full editor.

I get the feeling that we have just become greater than one dimensional like Mur was.

But EVERYONE is DEAD.
There is no way Murtaugh creates us, the Player.
If both he and Liz have been dead for what appears centuries, the question remainds.

Why are we...
Why are we alive?

And if Mur is dead.

Who created the Karma Portal in the mover?

I feel like this should be in spoiler code:

I thought it was because the 8th layer redefines the concept of time and to 8th layer beings time has no meaning. And now that the player has been granted the 8th button on the navigator, the player is on the same level as Mur and Liz. But that doesn't explain how their bodies were found and entombed. Unless those mummies weren't really Mur and Liz...

Submachine 9 is a fantastic game. I love where the plot has gone. None of the theories even came close to the truth. It's so complex it leaves a lot of places to go in Submachine Universe and post-series games.

One of the main features of the Hindu religion, besides Karma, is REINCARNATION.

I wonder if that is into play somewhere...
