Re: Submachine 6: the Edge
Its obvious how it is the Edge and outskirts of the Outer Rim. When he said outskirts, he didn't mean to the edge wee no one knows what is beyond the place, but the outskirts as in the point where the Outer Rim ends, and the Core begins. That is the outskirts of the Outer Rim.
Like how in Dante's Infernal, there were 8 circles of hell that made up the place know as hell. At one point he enter the first circle of hell, that was one point were he was at the outskirts of the first circle. But when he got to the other End of the Circle and exited it, that was the other Outskirts. Same deal with the Outer Rim, it has two outskirts, the point were it can progress no longer because the core is there, and the other end were we don't know what is beyond this point..

Re: Submachine 6: the Edge
There is a problem with your affirmation. The wrote said that its the outskirt of the Submachine net (Subnet) and it includes all.WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:Its obvious how it is the Edge and outskirts of the Outer Rim. Remember: Outer rim + Core = Subnet.

We’re travelling to the outskirts of the submachine universe. Straight to the defense systems of the net. Allegedly no one has ever been there before. That’s what Murtaugh told us in previous game. It is a very desolated area, the human presence in the sub def is unwanted and dangerous. Can you survive this experience?
These are the other 2 wrotes, they clearly say Edge its the outskirt of all the Subnet. The true question is the one highlighted in red.sub6 will be about the edge and defence systems - I wasnt joking about those systems.
No retrospections of previous submachines. Completely new material.
Do the defence systems point outwards or inwards - that was avery good question. Its so good, that I cant answer that

Re: Submachine 6: the Edge
Why then would Mur send us there?
He wants to get into the core, not outside the SubNet, because the people who buried him are in the core.
ITS BOTH!
THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE OUTER RIM LOOPS BACK INTO THE SUBNET!
But could it also be possible that the Edge was just a center location, were the security system was not limited there, but it was where its main command was.
Because when I read this quote from Mur:
The only reason I suspect that is because if you were playing Sub 4, and you trie to put in a Coordinate that was in SNEE, but it wouldn't let you go. I know that we had no reason to go to other location in Sub4, but when you get to 291 in SNEE, Liz is saying how Mur was coming, which leaves me to believe that SNEE took place sometime after Sub6, not allot, but just by a couple of minutes or so.

That part, I wonder if the Defense System was not just limited to the Core and Edge, but also made it difficult to move through the Outer Rim as well.mur@lab: hello?
mur@lab: I can't believe it.
mur@lab: you managed to disable the defense systems of the subnet.
mur@lab: now we can travel freely throughout the net. We can finally invade the core of the submachine.

Re: Submachine 6: the Edge
Wouldn't that be the inner edge or "inskirts"?WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:Its obvious how it is the Edge and outskirts of the Outer Rim. @ENIHCAMBUS: I do not see how your first and last quotes prove your point – they're still ambiguous to whether the edge is the outer edge of inner edge.
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

Re: Submachine 6: the Edge
As I've said before, the "Edge" is merely the seperating point between the SubNet and the Outer Rim...Think about the definition of an "Edge," a border/verge/fringe.
How so? The Outer Rim is endless, isn't it? You can go anywhere in the Outer Rim except for anything on the "inside" of the Edge. That part, I wonder if the Defense System was not just limited to the Core and Edge, but also made it difficult to move through the Outer Rim as well.

I thought it was just to hard to mapRooster5man wrote:How so? The Outer Rim is endless, isn't it? Exactly - Hard to map, not hard to transverse.
