Of course some of thousands questions will stay unanswered.

Hey, Gem, it could be interesting:
http://www.mateuszskutnik.com/archive/s ... changelog/
version 2, October 2005
Also known as the extended or the official-plot-version.
This is why when I replay the whole main storyline, I play v 2.0.
Earlier versions of Sub1 didn't even have the wisdom gem. But Sub0 has always had the wisdom gem ;)
V 2.0 (2005) already had gem. :)

I suggest you both change your avatars before you make the subgod unhappy.
It was a rule against "photoshoped" images of him being used in PF memes, he didn't said anything about avatars.

Incredibly, I never even noticed that...

The note in Sub1 feels out of place. Why? Nowhere else in the series is the basement mentioned in notes. Sure we visit a redux Basement location in Sub4, but still. The game itself feels out of place to me. That's why I don't think of it as canon. Sub0 would make a lot more sense, since that is connected with Sub5.

I'm sure that Mateusz will find some way of tying it to the other installments.

Reminds me when he was spamming forum with the sentence "Wait for it" for reaching the 1000 posts.
Yeah...I just got tired of having to go through the long and hard Process of creating A Theory page and it ends being good, then goes nowhere.

But...Like the Beatles Nowhere Man, I am Now Here.

I think Sub1 has to be part of the main storyline, and is very important too. Why? We don't even know how we got there in the first place! If we ever find out how this all began for the player, and what the meaning of our whole journey is, we will have to find out how we wound up in the basement in the first place.

Confirmation from Mateusz doesn't convince you? :)

I mean... I guess word of Subgod is truth ;)
Okay let me rephrase: OF COURSE Sub1 is part of main storyline, we might not see how it relates yet, but I think we will have to eventually, if anything is ever explained. :)
