Re: What are you doing right now?
So I got to replay the series in HD, and this went pretty fast. I was already a bit disappointed but it was the Lucky Room Music in Sub9's Secrets room that reminded me of what I actually like about Submachine and that I just needed more time to get back into it. (Which is easier when you have to spend more time on your first playthroughs because of the Puzzles.)
That's pretty remarkable, considering there are only a very few days were Submachine doesn't cross my mind. I'd guess its many and partially unconnected aspects made its essence fade in my memory.

(still, I don't think I will play HDs. And theyre still buggy)
Re: What are you doing right now?
I like the HDs better. Dunno why, I guess there's this sense of uniformity that isn't in the online games. The lags in Sub8 and Sub9 also appear in the online versions, so given everything I still prefer HDs.

Oh yeah, they dampened the Sub9 fun a bit. Having to look at the stuttering whenever you get near those statues in the pyramid disturbs the flow.

For me it stutters on every screen turning right at the start is as bad as the temple tower part used to be on my Vista.
I'm not seeing the greatness of Windows 8 when it comes to running flash player.

Re: What are you doing right now?
I think that is one of the problems, the upgrade should have come with the ability to tranfer some of the flash nodes from the Windows 7 to the Windows 8.Error_3113 wrote:For me it stutters on every screen turning right at the start is as bad as the temple tower part used to be on my Vista.

Also, has anyone here know any news in regards to the Windows 10 upgrade?
Pros/Cons?
Stuff like that.

Re: What are you doing right now?
I upgraded from Win8.1 to Win10 and think it's much better. Runs smoother and faster, looks great, Navigation and allocation of functions and data are more pleasant.WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:Also, has anyone here know any news in regards to the Windows 10 upgrade?

I'd say it feels like if they mixed Win7 and Win8 and upgraded the outcome.
I personally don't use Cortana (Win10's personal assistant), though, because it creeps me out... if you don't enable it/ her to read your browser history, your position, your messages (?!), your "contents" (whatever that is) etc you just can't use it. I don't see why a scheduler app would have to know those things.
I also don't use the Win10 Browser Edge, as it felt sluggish and had problems loading certain objects
