And who can be the other? The wise man? (That's how I call the man who knew what was happening when Murtuagh left).

However, Mateusz said that the ones talking in this note were part of a exploration team. I think Murtaugh was still capable of percieving other people after he was removed from one-dimensionality.

EDIT: Or maybe this note was writen at that exact moment, and they still don't comprend what happened.

ok what does it mean?
That's impossible. Nothing has changed. The coordinates are the same. Yet everything is gone. There's nothing there now. I can't see anything

I think it's very clear it is referring to layers. What else could it be?

I understand it's referring to layers but what exactly?

Is it puzzle? Someone solves the puzzle and doesn't see result result because result is on another layer?

if he can't see anything perhaps he's in the void.

That was what I thought too. I think whoever was at that location was looking at areas of the submachine network through those telescope looking machines to the left. Perhaps they can view other layers, and maybe the explorer wasn't aware of this.

Or at that specific location there was just nothing built in that layer, even though there was matter in other layers.

Something I noticed about this; if this is the case and therewas truly nothing in this situation, wouldn't the speaker be concerned with the feeling of nothing under his feet? Yet he/she doesn't bring this up immediately, which I think anyone immediately would if they were suddenly experiencing weightlessness. So we can assume that the speaker still is on steady ground, even though the speaker experiences nothing.

Which leads to this: even in spots where layers contain nothing, is there still a ground? Is there still some sort of solid plane that everything would be built off of?

I don't know, this is probably too much speculation.

I think they clearly refering to the location observed through the telescopes, they feets were safe in BRK.

Then how does "He sees you" make sense? Murtaugh can see all layers at once, but nowhere does any game mention that he also has eagle vision. Is he also pointing a telescope at them? Or it's Shiva who they are talking about?

But Sub7 and Sub9 state that Murtaugh can see Elizabeth when viewing all layers at once, so if he can see Elizabeth, its possible he can see others. I remember a post by Mateusz
You need answers? but that what you saw was just a tip of the iceberg. The rest is... you know... under water. or in other words - under the surface of my mind. I've been there, I've seen it all with my very own eyes. Maybe you should start asking proper questions. Maybe your theories don't work that well because you see only what I want to show you.

Its possible Murtaugh only allows those who he wants to see him. Like his exploration teams. The focus of the plot is basically replaying the past up to the present. If we are in the past throughout most of Submachine, shouldn't we be able to see Murtaugh? Perhaps that's it. We cannot see him because he is only showing us what he wants to show us.

So therefore Murtaugh was showing those explorers at that location what he wanted to show them.
