I've felt that myself quite a bit :/
I would love an admin position for the theory voting, but as I said, college. I'm not sure at this point. Either way, it's going to be haywire once Sub10 comes out. What else would the admin do?
Mostly the admin is just a regular user, but with
added abilities, that normal users don't have. The only tangible responsibilities that I know of are that you might be frequently asked to deal with things others cannot deal with: delete images, stop edit wars, merge pages and most importantly answer questions that sometimes come your way. As the admin you'll be thought of one of the wise sages that know everything.
Also, if you feel like you can't deal with it then, you might consider rescheduling the vote a bit. As the admin, you could do that – since you have enthusiasm for the task that is a better option than losing out on the possibility of getting someone who cares about the task to do it.

plz
I would clean up the Wiki A LOT as far as that goes. jpg is out in my book.
If there was a reschedule, it would have to be later than sooner, because not many will be around.

See this is why I suggested we have a theory voting session a few weeks back, so we could get everything ready and accounted for, for the release of Sub10. We don't need to have a theory voting session right after the release of Sub10, because the plot might not even end there, the plot might expand to include Subnet and also the standalone games, which could provoke even more theories.
I'm not sure who else would be reliable and responsible as Admin on the wiki besides Error. Not saying that other contributors like Ant, Sublevel and Eni are irresponsible, but its a huge responsibility to undertake and if there is one thing I have a knack at, is figuring out who is best for what.
I mean take Vortex for example, admin on the wiki after I nudged Marbles about it. Moderator here after I gave my support for his promotion.
*everyone looks at Gemini*
NEVER! I WILL NEVER FALL INTO THE TEMPTATION OF BEING ADMIN ON THE WIKI AGAIN!
*runs*

If anything, I would love to help out with pictures and stuff. That would be good productive busy work while I refine my opinion on the theory vote.

This is something we might try asking Mateusz to help with, perhaps? Were he to say "hey' there is a theory voting on SubWiki our community needs you" we'd probably get at least some influx.

True. Everything comes back to connection with the outside world.

The question is, what importance are theories in the Subnet?
One thing I've wondered is, how much effort does a theory go into the production of a location. Does Mateusz value the theories like we do?
The other problem we face is what we faced in the past when Subnet was first released. People created sloppy theories just to get a room in Subnet. Which Mateusz has been openly vocal about in the past.
I know that probably doesn't make any sense, but in order for us to ask Mateusz to direct traffic this way, I think it would have to be a really good reason. And a theory voting on the wiki? Its worth a try, but we need to be aware of the other things. Like I said, people will see those theories, and realize this is where you make theories, come here to make a theory just to get a room in Subnet.

Are you saying there are theories in the Subnet not in the Wiki theories? Because I think I got all those recorded.
If it's a sloppy theory, it will be voted on in a voting session, right? I guess I'm not sure of your point.
Edit: oh I see. Well Mat could always just say that there's no guarantee and that it shouldn't be expected at all. Seems like the original round of theories as done to generate user interest in the game. But I wouldn't know that much about it...

No all theories in Subnet are on the wiki, I don't really know what I'm trying to say to be honest. Don't mind me,
I just think we need to approach this in a careful and concise manner, so that way things are clear to Mateusz and others. Its a good idea, to direct traffic to the wiki and this forum for theory voting, but I just worry about those who see the theories in Subnet and see them on the wiki and immediately assume any theory gets into the subnet and then annoy the hell out of the sub-god to get their theory into the subnet.
Granted that can happen anytime, but we can take preventive measures.
All in all, I would like to see this happen, but hopefully it doesn't go haywire lol.
To answer your other question, the sloppy theories never really made it to Submachine Wiki theory page, because that was back when I was the Theory Project Manager and made sure they didn't get there
