So I finally found the new location, looks like it's in another layer...

It wouldn't quite make sense to call those objects 'items' though, although he could be referring to just those. I couldn't find anything else either, if there was anything to find there.

If they are mini karma portals, then maybe what we see in the telescopes are in a different place then where the telescopes are actually pointed at.
Or, they aren't karma portals, since they don't have a hole in the middle like karma portals do.

1. The karma portal didn't leave any cracks in the wall at the new location.
2. The background of location itself looks a bit like the sewers in sub8, also, the computers an telescopes are copper coloured, similar to the sewers, and unlike the grey coloured devices that we saw in locations in sub4.
3. The note itself mentions being at the same coordinates but a different place, which could mean that writer of the note is in the same coordinates as another location, but a different layer than the original location, similar to the geotag note at the beginning of sub8.

I think point is karma-portal is too far from background wall, to affect it.
