I haven't encountered any problems other than those two dead links. I was thinking of making a redirect to the theories section here for those interested in making their own theories, in case a subnet wanders upon the theories page. I put the image up as an example of what I like to see when editing, I just feel better seeing the coding there is all. Easier on the eyes
Regarding spoilers I like the idea of hiding portions that would be revealing the plot. I know there are plot summaries on the individual submachine game pages, those should be hidden. Hiding the maps is a nice touch too.
You don't have to label it spoiler heavy. Just place this in
Code: Select all
{| class="wikitable collapsible collapsed"
! Plot
|-
| Replace with spoiler content
|}
Its collapsible, meaning you can open and close it, just like the table of contents.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that. So this means it's ok to put the HD maps on the Wiki?

I believe so. I've always adhered to an embargo. If the game hasn't been out for a set amount of time, then any spoilers should remain off the wiki until everyone has a chance to play it. I mean all these games have been out for years so its alright.
Edit: Sorry for bringing this up, but how does everyone feel about adding bory's theories to the wiki? I know the guy caused problems a few years back, but hell I caused problems too and my theories are on there. Just wanted to get an opinion on that. I'm going through the this section and gathering missed theories and will put them on the wiki, but I'll leave bory's alone until I get enough opinions.
Edit 2: Raziel and Chaos are the same user. So their theory pages need to be merged.

I don't have an opinion on Bory's theories, I wasn't around at the time. I'll put the Raziel-Chaos merge on my to-do list.

I've always been a bit skeptical of the point of having spoiler warnings in a Wiki? The entire wiki is one huge spoiler anyway. I mean, we aren't Mateusz nor just a opaque walkthrough database; we are a source of Submachine information. If you don't want spoilers of the game, don't go to a Wiki. It is sort of like going to a pool and complaining about getting wet, at least to me.
...and that is why I've been suing an entirely different update philosophy, I suppose. More or less, as soon as information is released it needs to be in the Wiki ASAP. However, I am no longer a major contributor to the Wiki, so my vote on the issue should, perhaps, not be counted.
As for Borys' theory, I really don't mind.

Normally I would say the same, however FLFHD is different in that it's buy-only. I figured it's been long enough that we can put it on the Wiki, but I would still like to give it an extra layer of protection for the time being, and maybe take that off in a month or two.

So you mean that if something has a determinate monetary value, it shouldn't have its information released?
When you see Wikia of an entire series thats buy-only, its that wrong?
There's no much actual difference with SubFLFHD and iSub, and if it not were because of the info already on the wikia, nothing from the game would by ever know forever, becuase its not avaliable anymore.

Hey, I'm only concerned that we don't spoil the difference for many people as possible. I don't have to have the collapsed table, I just wanted to know if it was a good idea.

I think Error has a point. Buy-only games would normally have a bigger "spoiler period" than free games, so we allow people that want to buy the game but don't have money right now to wait until they can afford the game without being accidentally spoiled. Also by not putting all the game info readily available in the Wiki yet we're kind of doing a favor to Mateusz, by compelling people to buy the game and see what's new instead of having the wiki right out tell them. It's not wrong to put the info, but I don't think it's bad practice to label it as spoiler.

Yeah, even though it's only a dollar, I want to give Mat a little more time. We could always take the spoiler off in a couple months.
