They already checked that. It all Light Void and nothing else they could see. The CORRIDOR that they came through is also totally gone.

The VENTILATION GRATE connecting to the UPPER FLOOR is locked.

So they can't.

Ener noticed the similar mechanism in the FREEZER ROOM and took a glance at it.

He can't use the SCREWDRIVER because those aren't SCREWS. They're SIX-SIDED.
