Not to bury the above issue, but I want to quickly point out that apparently having your post quoted by someone else gets you a notification, which is kind of interesting. I imagine that's quite useful on big forums.

I'll try to make a deep dive into the search issue once I'm not on vacation. Beyond that, there have been a number of minor issues - like link color - I haven't gotten around to, I should probably make a list or something.

On 2020-08-28 there was at least a few hours' downtime for unclear reasons, which I could not resolve without physically cycling power to the server machine, which is why it took comparatively long to resolve once I noticed. Cause unclear, but I'm hoping to take a dive in the logs today to see if I can find something out.

Logs are considerably less illuminating than I had hoped, my best guess right now is a faulty PSU failed to supply power, causing the file system to fail until rebooted. Should probably replace it.
