Last news I heard - SNEE HD is finished. Submachine spin-off and nextgen Steam(?) remakes of subgames (including SNEE) would be only after The Big Game. 2 years minimum

Exactly. On Steam: TBG, then Submachine: the Engine. Then Legacy (HD remakes), although not sure this comes directly after or even further away.
SNEE 2 is coming too somewhere along the way.
I remember him saying on a stream "I need to get back to Submachine" like he has abstinentia hahah, so I think he's excited for it too (:
