Thanks Prupp, what I do is when I draw the wood lines, I used fine point permanent marker. Then use a light brown wax-like color pencils and fill it in. You notice how in my Brothers Technomancer Tree the wood lines look like a circuit board?

Just so you can understand the 'farming' part, my Brother and his family recently moved back to Detroit and had a new house built. It turns out that the property use to be a farmland owned by one of Liz's relatives and she used to go there when she was a kid.

Anyway, here's my third and final tree drawing for a Christmas gift to my cousin.

When I draw these, I don’t have a specific goal in mind on what I want the result to look like, nor do I even know which orientation of the paper I’ll end up picking when I’m done since I’m constantly turning it while working.

I didn’t even have the word “pineapple” in mind until after I was completely finished and just noticed that it followed the basic shape. So if you see Submachine stuff, more power to you, I guess.
