I can't see how.If the portal were to be connected to a separate group of locations like in sub10, how would we exit that group of locations and return to the main portal then? And why implement it like this now instead of simply leaving it inactive?

Yeah I don't get it either. It's a great idea that's not really working that well right now. At least in execution. In principle I think it's genius, because it bends what we've seen before and hints at bridging between those two mechanics.

No, because he doesn't have plans to.

Concerning 840:

Really nitpicky, but while looking at the entire map I noticed that while there are security cameras, their placement is nowhere close to optimal for observing the entire map and all the rooms.

Also, there are NOT 32 books. I am disappoint. (counted 40)
