I mean, it does to me, because we're a public forum and we're not really supposed to know each other's names. I mean, sure, it has become pretty clear in Apocrypha's videos what his real name IS, but that doesn't automatically make it okay to spread the info around like so much confetti. There's something vaguely doxxing-like to me about it and it makes me kind of uncomfortable.

Not to mention:

If I was ok with you calling me by my first name I would have asked Vortex to change it to that instead of Apocrypha.

I.e. Cryphy here is not okay with it.

EDIT: Cryphy is not a bad nickname. I think a nickname could cut the Apo out and do something with the -crypha? He can have his input here though.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Still "creepy" is not the word I'd use, but I understand some people would be bugged by their name being used publicly. Like I said it depends on the person (for example, Mateusz has almost never used a nickname afaik) but it can be disrespectful to refer to people by any other name than the current nickname without knowing if they agree.
