Re: Submachine Universe
then it hasn't any relation to weird usage of that sound in Sub32, Sub0 and SubFLF
Re: Submachine Universe
I know, that's also why I found Jatsko's explanation a little unsatisfying.
Re: Submachine Universe
Same here XD
I just want so badly to be able to say that XYZ teleporters operate in one layer, and the blue KPs work in one layer, but there's always that one room that prevents me from saying that with confidence. (though I'm convinced that blue KPs only work in one layer).
It would be so nice if Sub4 and Sub7 were chiastic enough that their main means of transportation had similar properties like that.

Re: Submachine Universe
After Sub10, that's another thing I have doubts over. It would mean that each of the previous Submachine games happen in a different layer.Jatsko wrote:though I'm convinced that blue KPs only work in one layer
Re: Submachine Universe
Elaborate.
Re: Submachine Universe
Well, we access these games through blue karma portals, and Mateusz confirmed that the binary portal travels between layers, so it follows that each game must have happened in a different layer, not?
For example, Sub4 must be in the same layer that OIO is, and Sub5 in the layer where OOI is, which are different. We know that the games up to Sub8 aren't part of the knot, so the locations themselves can't look the same in different layers.

Re: Submachine Universe
I see. That makes sense.
Also, we know that Sub5 and Sub6 had to be in the same layer. So it follows that the karma portals in Sub10 to the Root and the Cliffs must have led to different layers from OOI and IIO, respectively. (The Sub10 Root and Cliffs could even be in the same layer themselves)

Re: Submachine Universe
Yeah, that's true, good catch.
That restores the symmetry between Sub4 and Sub7 then

Re: Submachine Universe
one more unsolved mystery:
decipher of all karma portals locations names
Will we make one more attempt to decipher them all?
