on an unrelated note:
Vortex wrote:now that I think, could it be that the Sub1 exit painting we see was actually a real place, before it got buried by sand? I say that because we can see the silhouette of the Lighthouse in one of the paintings. Mateusz said in a forum post that the sand was poured from another layer. Maybe the Lighthouse actually served as a lighthouse, near the sea and everything, before all that sand got poured over the place creating a desert?!

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit
About the void. I got it now.
I was really confused with locations that "reside" in real world. Like the church(218), second tomb(043), tomb trap(770) the ouroboros tunnel(051), the ship(800) and possibly the lab. But now I think that could be light from scientific equipment(like we saw it in 241) in these locations.
After rethinking of Vortex's post about labs rooftop, I got it.
When the expansion was triggered, the core was absorbed by submachine into the void. That's why the plan was lost! All locations in submachine 1-7 were located in pocket dimension in the void(lab sky might be fake).
There are 2 ways of subnet expansion - adoption(absorption) from elsewhere and creation from the scratch.
Adoption means absorption into the void. All locations immediately absorb in there.
The lab also could be not absorbed location because scientists built it and create the portals independently. The lab is the man-made submachine. But since the "collapse"(which was caused by using the green portal in the sub7) it was absorbed(like we saw in the sub10). So, it's logically assume that the SubUniverse events occur after the sub7.

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit
Just finished Submachine 10.
HOLY SHIT, that ending.
But I was never able to collect all 10 secrets yet (got 7 of them, but I couldn't activate any monitors) and I can't go back!

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit
Okay, so the time traveler Note in Submachine 10, it explains the ending.
I've also found your tomb, right next to mine?
Murtaugh found the Temple of His and Elizabeth. So the final secret note from Submachine 9,
So that Body of Elizabeth and Murtaugh in The Temple are there's, but its only one of the 'layer counterparts' that died. Not their 'whole' self.
A proper tomb, in fact?Twin Tombs wrote:

- Well, I guess that's bound to happen sooner or later if you're a time traveller.

- Oh, that's so sweet of them.

I realize how much that note was design to throw us off. I think the people who saw Murtuagh 'die' were fix to only one layer. They saw one of his counterparts die, the one fix to that layer. But not his 'whole' self die.Fate of the Third wrote:Murtaugh was already dying, and just before he drew his last breath - the light came to him and showed him what was to come. We believe he stayed in that moment forever.

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit
What I understood from it is that Mur travelled to the future, where they are already dead. Mateusz said that there's only one Murtaugh in all layers, not a copy for each layer.

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit
Yeah, time travel. Mat already said there is only one Murtaugh and one Elizabeth
Just smile and wave boys. Smile and wave...
