And if is not blue, is either Green or Purple, which are of closer frequences, therefore, there most be a relation between eye stimulus and lightwave frequency I assume...

Other posibility maybe is about normality, as you see oceans are blue as well as sky does, so is also posible people likes these colours because they fell confortable with them as it reminds them about external world.
