Pixel Submachine
Re: Pixel Submachine
I like it!
I think the temple itself is really interesting. We see parts of both the outside and the inside. I challenge you to try to imagine what the outside of the spiral staircases look like, what patterns they have.
Also, I've brought this up before, but in the left staircase, we see that flooded passageway branching off to the left. What does it mean? And why doesn't the right staircase have one?

Here's some more I'm far from finished but I'm done for tonight.
and as for the hole in the wall i always just interpreted it as just that and if there werent sand (resin?) you would fall to your death.

Loving it so far
I believe that the Temple was once an independent building, and the Pyramid was built above it at a later time, so from the outside façade we have only seen parts of the roof. Probably the staircases were like steeples in the original building, like the bell tower of a church (bells included XD).

It is sand because in the soundtrack while inside the temple, you can here sand falling.collinbollin wrote: [...] and if there weren't sand (resin?) you would fall to your death.
Through every problem, raw persistence will prevail.
Re: Pixel Submachine
It's probably resin, considering the sound the ritual brass bowl makes after it's pulled out. And as for that hole, I see an arch pattern, but I don't know if that's indicative of more structure behind that or not.collinbollin wrote:and as for the hole in the wall i always just interpreted it as just that and if there werent sand (resin?) you would fall to your death.

Re: Pixel Submachine
update! i Dm'ed a pathfinders game today so i didn't get much work on it yet, but I added the statues! I'm no good at people but if you squint you can kind of see it also @Vortex i agree the temple and the pyramid must have been at some point separate, but I think the temple must have been kind of pushed up into the pyramid from the look of the broken floor. anyways that's why I'm drawing them separately
