I have some friends that try to have sex with every girl they meet in their life. They don't talk to girls much but when they do they try everything to make out our have sex with them. It is even worse when girls talk to them they instantly think that she finds them attractive and want to have sex with them. They just can't accept the fact that one can actually have female friends. I sometimes wonder why I hangout with such pathetic people

:| I wonder too. Sounds like rather horrid companionship, tbh.

But thats normal for you, since you live in Germany.

Here in Argentina have been 7 years of an era of sexual abuse, and was only recently due gruesome incidents that womans of the country decided to defend their rights, after all, a sum of 2000 womans died by sexual abuse in the last 10 years.

Some guys treat me the same way too. Even the ones who are not interested and think just because I speak to them think that I'm a desperate sex starved man who wants attention. Ah no. I just speak to people because isn't that, normal?

Its like when I call a guy handsome, they think that I want to bang them.

It doesn't mean I want to bang you, just means you are handsome, and that's that. I have my taste in men, unlike some men who bang everything that moves.

Handsome is a word I use to describe someone who is attractive, but only in a non-sexual manner. Now if I call you a cutie on the other hand... :P

They might be addicted to porn. Heard from comments on Reddit that can happen.

I never get the context of pornography, seeing other poeple doing it causes a sensation of distress on me.

I do get excited, but always end distressed.

I think it depends on who you associate with. What parts of society. If you came from a strong religious upbringing, sexuality wasn't probably discussed as much, plus heterosexuality was slammed down your throat, with homosexuality being cast off as a sin. Theta who is bisexual had that experience with his parents, back on bbpress forum he often remarked about it.

I have a gay friend who I've known for ten years and his parents were ultra-religious and condemned him for being gay, but over time, they just came to tolerate it. My parents were the same way, they aren't all that religious, but did shove the bible down my throat when I came out, but over time they just came to accept it. True story, my mom asked me last week if I'm attending my city's annual Gay Pride festival and I am, and I also signed up to do volunteer work to help organize the event.

But anyways, I think it depends also on the people you hang around. My friends for example are people who are involved with crude behavior and jokes. We love pushing the boundaries with each other. While my parents on the other hand, aren't very crude people. They are more... dark/morbid which is where I get my dark and morbid sense of humor. My dad can be crude though, my mom not so much, she's more morbid/dark if anything else.

I think society has been continually progressing towards sexuality being more open than it was 50 years ago. Granted there are still those small parts that are taboo and totally against any form of sexual expression, but society as a whole has changed a lot. But of course with that, sexualization of objects becomes more progressive. Yeah women as sex objects has been around, hell there are some pornos from the 1920s and 1930s if you are interested... but its become progressively more defined and common since the 60s and 70s. I think those two decades were a Sexual Revolution if there is such a thing.

You know, that is probably more the "I didn't realize I was into that" –factor. Sometimes – hell, maybe even usually – you probably aren't even into that, not really in a way that you would like to do it. The concept of it is just "kinky" and "sexual" and that is a powerful turn-on for many.

As for the more relevant discussion, I myself don't really have many male acquaintances of my age-group, since when I was in my earlier teens, the guys in my school – i.e. the people I would've had to hang out with – were kind of obnoxious and I never really developed strong friendships. Talking about girls like mentioned here and other general machoism. I disliked that, so instead I talked with the girls a lot. As a consequence people started teasing me about being a ladies man, which was not at all my intention.
