I may already have mentioned that, but my parents didn't ever allow me to create such glorious gaming memories.

Oooh, but(t).... wait. I did play a game! It was an educational one. They only bought it for me because I sucked at maths. I beat it by abusing the hint system, though.

Yeah, you have to guide the blue parrot ("Globi") through an adventure by solving math problems.

Sublevel, you should play Elents by NeutralXE. It's pretty long and will give you some room escape action to help tide you over

I think I played one of his games before... Vision, probably.

It's very good, too! Not too easy, not too hard, very little pixel hunts.

There are plans for a really promising first-person-game from the makers of Bioshock: The black glove. There's little info about it, but it looks and sounds so fresh. Sadly, they stopped its production now, but want to return to it later.

oh God...

checking fanbase of early Sega Sonics.
barrel of Doom, Mystic zone spikes pit, Boss 2 alternate theme, kamakillers...

God. That's osom. I thought I was alone in this, but I found thousands soulmates...

---

main difference from old and newgaming:
you can spend f***ing year in small part of level, trying to pass it, but you still love this game. you continue to play it. you know each single corner, discovered only by yourself
and you enjoy it

that was old times...

what now?
people use walkthrough for Submachine 1... or for Covert Front 4 main puzzle, forgetting that how much time author lost to make it, and what part of his own soul he put in this game.

Yeah, and they are also finally able to use walkthroughs for annoying and unnecessary pixel hunting.
(No, I still don't think I missed something by getting help for Where is 2015 instead of clicking around until 2016 :P )
