I've been following this for years. It really sickens me to read this.
They did not deserve to die. They had reformed. What kind of godforsaken government does this? What kind of vulture bureaucrat sits in his office deserves the power to condemn a man to death?
There will be a reckoning, but the politicians will smooth it over.

Offtop: Actually, Kakama, how often is East Malaysia brought up in news and politics compared to Peninsular M'sia? It strikes me that I hear far more about stuff on the mainland...just curious

Well, Sabah and Sarawk are less developed than peninsular Malaysia and less people live there, so there's less chance of stuff getting reported on the news. Although besidesnthebearthquake they made the news recently when one of the opposition coalition parties in Sabah (I think ) left the Pakatan Rakyat because PAS was being too radical.
