i haven't much idea about programming, so i'll trust you guys in your decision.
and I approve of "sublevel explodes"![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
so what about further developing the plot? is anyone willing to do it?

Erm... I volunteer as tribute. Not sure what it is that needs doing, but I need to do something.

NEVERMIND, I should've done more reading. UE is also portable.gil2455526 wrote:I still prefer Unity because it's portable

Wait, unreal engine? Isn't that slightly overkill?
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, if the old boss had been an octahedron, which they weren't.

There is no such thing as 'overkill'. Only more awesome.

I mean, what advantage would UE offer that's relevant to the experience of, or process of creating, the game? Seems to me it'd just be a bulkier way of accomplishing the same thing.

If it's a screen-by-screen game like Subs then there's no need for UE. Submachine itself got that far with a somewhat "humble" engine. It ain't no Unity, no UE, no freakin' AAA developer engine, yet it rocks.

And I say, why make it a screen-by-screen game? Why not a fully 3D puzzle game like Portal?
