They can't claim the kid as their own if the parents die, nor do they have to take the kid if they can't take care of him/her.

I thought that was kind of the point of godparents.

It took about an hour, with the drugs it isn't all that painful. But, when said drugs wear off that numb/dull the pain of the procedure.

It hurts, feels like that part of the mouth is like a tennis ball. A tennis ball that's been coated with glass shards.

Did you get good painkillers for it? Make sure you do not get addicted to them..

I almost did once, for once I felt the stress was gone in my life because of it. But I knew as soon as it started to make my life better I was going to be addicted to it. I had forced myself to stop before it was too late and become dependent on it.

I still wonder if that was the best decision to this day however..
