Have you ever noticed how hard it is to make sense out of Fog Fall plot? I decided to replay it and try to figure out what's going on. It still makes no sense, but I created this in

I figure the guy bought that house, and the day the Fog Fell, and he went into his basement, the Fog was some anomaly that transported his Bunker 5 years into the future, in an alternate Timeline.

Cause I figure the dead guy behind the brick wall is him, but the alternate version of him who went through all 5 years of trying to live in that bunker.

And when he gets to the surface, he realize what happen and is trying to get home.
He thinks the people who made the borders are smart enough to get him back to his own timeline.

Why 5 years?

The Development that everyone on the outside made.
If the bombs fell, it would take more than one or two years for the shop owner to get set up, the Observers to hold power, the farmer and her family to also be well put together so they can defied the Observers, and for the hunter to know how to hunt the new animals after their patterns change after the environment was hit so hard.
