Yep!

Also, 7 is 9. Proof:

7 = 8 + (-1) = 8 +(√-1)*(√-1) = 8 +√[(-1)*(-1)] = 8 + √1 = 8 + 1 = 9

So 6*9 = 6*7 = 42.
