Submachine Universe
Re: Submachine Network Exploration
I always thought you could eventually tie some version of all the other games into SNEE, minus plot events of course.

Nintendo stole Mat's idea! Sue those bitches!
Sadly patents don't work that way... It's a "Who comes first" system...

Just smile and wave boys. Smile and wave...
Re: Submachine Network Exploration
Actually I think Mateusz put the MSO message in SNEE the first. Imagine if he sues Nintendo and they have to pay him

I remember we discussed it one year ago...
but wait... THEY REALLY STOLE MATEUSZ'S IDEA!!!
Does Mateusz know? Why did Mateusz not sue them?

Re: Submachine Network Exploration
Well, Nintendo is a big company and they filed the patent first, so probably it won't have that much effect, I don't know.
But if it's Nintendo who sues Mateusz, he is in his right because he used the term before.

Re: Submachine Network Exploration
If Mateusz claims Prior Art (e.g. says that he made it up first), they will just have to drop the patent and he can then license it to them. No suing involved unless they refuse to license it from him. I don't even think they are going to use it in a reasonable time frame. Most companies just patent stuff so nobody else can do it without paying them. It is kind of sad, really.OnyxIonVortex wrote:Well, Nintendo is a big company and they filed the patent first, so probably it won't have that much effect, I don't know.
