Re: Dreams
Remember, Onyx that dreams are 1/3 of our life.
I prefer to live there, not to be lived. :)

Re: Dreams
How many hours do you sleep?
I sleep about to 7-9 hours week and 4-12 weekends.

Re: Dreams
I thought 8 hours is international norm.
I sleep 8-10 hours in weekends and 6-8 in not weekends. :P

Re: Dreams
Okay, so here are some dreams for y'all to "interpret".
You know that feeling you get that you've had a dream before, more than once? You're not sure, but you think it keeps cropping up? Well, I've had three lately, and two of them seem to be more prevalent than the third.
All three are distinct places, and I want you guys to tell me if you've ever seen one of these places before.
I drew very sketchy sketches ( ) of the two more common ones, to accompany my descriptions.
Dream 1
So, basically I am in a hallway, a narrow one, and I'm running. (I'm a track and cross-country athlete, so I run in a lot of my dreams, no surprise there.) I run down a slope in the hallway and arrive at this intersection of other hallways that come together in a central room that has maybe seven or eight walls. Some of the walls open to hallways, others to rooms.
The walls of the hallways and the central room are a faded yellow color. The carpets in the hallways are a brownish color. There is one light in the center of the ceiling, and even though the other hallways are lit, there aren't any other lights I can see.
There are three rooms branching off from three of these central room walls. I think that two or all three of them look like cafeterias, like ones from elementary school, and all of them have lunch tables in them (varying circular or rectangular ones). At least two of these rooms have children sitting at them, again, elementary-age. For some reason, out of nowhere, I think that these kids are here for a huge chorus lesson, split into three rooms. (Weird, because I don't do chorus in our school.) The three rooms have either open or closed sets of double doors, with windows to see the kids through. I don't know if they notice me or not.
There are three total hallways: the slanted one I came from, one to my left side, and one to my right. (Not immediately to my left and right, as shown in the map I made) I know that the one to the left curves left and leads to a warehouse-type place, but the one on the the right I have no clue where it goes. I can only see so far down the right-side one before it mysteriously goes out of focus (like a blind spot).
I have never seen any place like this before in my life. Here is the map showing everything:
Dream 2
So THIS place is a bit more cool: it's heavily shadowed and a lot of it is covered by black shadows. However the parts that are lit cast this deep blue light everywhere, except from the actual light source, which appears bluish-white. There is one square room that has a spiral staircase in the middle. The staircase is lit blue, except for the parts in shadow; they cast crazy angles of black everywhere as they hit the steps and banister. on the right wall of the view in the picture below there is a gap in the wall; it's dark there but something tells me there are more sections of wall back there. I also know there are objects back there, but I can't tell what they are.
The staircase leads straight up to another square room, but this one is much larger and bathed in total blue light. The only object in this room is a huge crystal chandelier that hangs from the ceiling. It also gives off bluish-white light and glints and is pretty
That's about it there. This place reminded me of "Eien" a bit, except I think I first dreamed this a couple months ago. I'm not going to be mysterious and say "I predicted it", I just thought some parts looked familiar. But idk what the chandelier, the staircase, the deep blue light, and the shadows are from.
Here is very sketchy sketch:
Let me know where you might've seen something like these two places before! or you can skip this very lengthy post and leave me to my own devices....either one is fine. lol
