the free phpbb sites do not offer you database access or ftp access. therefore, you can not move your existing board to a new free phpbb board site.

About four years ago, the Krinlabs forum was suddenly brought to a close, when other people and I found that Krin didn't pay for the servers. We were traumatized.

At least, Mateusz gives us some time to pack our things...

okay, someone can give me the instructions i need to follow to set up a forum? if I need to pay something I'm willing to (if it's not very expensive, I can spend around 10€ a month or so. i don't really know how much it costs but i hope it's not much).

EDIT: or... is it possible that I can somehow buy the pastelportal.com page to continue hosting it for myself, without needing to create a new forum?

I see that you guys have almost no knowledge about how all this works.

It's not a matter of domain, but server hosting. It HAS to change.
So all ideas like: just change the admin or sell domain without actually moving it - are pointless.
