Submachine 10 and beyond Theories and Suggestions

- What are the white electrical like lines we see in the eighth layer? Is that the true form of Karma Energy? Why White? Why not Green or Blue?

This was mentioned in a secret, right? They are made from atoms, frozen in time, that emit light because of the friction caused by people moving through them. I gather that people have given the phenomenon some religious meaning along the lines of "the path of destiny".

- Speaking of green karma, why were there green karma portals that took us to locations within the temple, but we had to use a green karma portal to traverse to a different layer in Sub7? Why not blue karma portals?

Isn't it possible they moved us through both interdimensional and dimensional space? They clearly are better made than most of the stuff Murtaugh did. Or we've seen him do in any case.

I was just pondering the new information, and I think I managed to connect some dots.

- Do you see it now?

- Yes... How is it even possible? They're interlocking perfectly...

- Who needs god when you have architects like that, right?

- But why the boundaries. Why this particular shape?

- The idea is to give you the glimpse of the plan. Just a glimpse. Seeing it in all it's glory would blind your mind.

The Fourth Dynasty at the peak of it's cultural and technological development was able to create first man-made submachine structure. That was around the beginning of twentieth century and is now considered the birthdate of the outer rim.

Right now due to corossion, collapse and spontaneous growth of the outer rim the plan is almost unrecognizable.

The Plan, so far as we know, refers to the Core submachines, spread out over the 7 main layers. The use of the term "architects" implies that the Plan is not a naturally occurring phenomenon. These submachines were not built by Mankind, and the architects note implies that it was not a deity either. Since it was neither man nor god, the only remaining explanation is that the plan was designed by a computer. My guess is that the Plan was created by the computer that exceeded human brainpower. The humans, wishing to prove themselves equal to the computer, tried to create the root, and sparked the uncontrolled growth of the outer rim. The defense systems were then created to stop anyone from trying to create another submachine, by exiling them to the 8th layer.

But that voice at the end of the game saying "Ah...Welcome..." (Or something close to it.)
I still say it's the Hindu God Shiva, which gave Murtaugh his Karma Arm, apparently (7 of them all at once o_0).
I say this because a) the distorted echoey voice, and b) the giant statue right there at the last area, complete with slow pan downward as we slide down the rope! That has to imply some importance...

If your "architect = computer" theory is true, then I'd say that Shiva is actually a supercomputer of epic proportions, which is not only sentient, granting Murtaugh the Karma Arm, but also creator of the outer rim and possibly the framework of the submachines (The Plan) by way of Karmic Energy.

Simply put: Shiva IS Subgod.

Again, I may be wrong here...
AM I stretching it? Or does it make sense, however little?

Well, we know that humans, messing with flawed copies of originals structures, are one of causes of birth of Outer Rim. But what if Shiva/God/Mastermind of Submachine is person who actually started process of its growing?..

I think Shiva is just the <insert name of the people who created the pyramid and the pillars with info>'s way of referring to the Computer/Architect/Subgod. If not, it's strange that Mateusz chose a specific human religion and didn't invent something more specific to Submachine. Also the final plot would maybe be unsettling to the people who actually are of the Hindu religion and play Submachine.

Well, we know that humans, messing with flawed copies of originals structures, are one of causes of birth of Outer Rim. But what if Shiva/God/Mastermind of Submachine is person who actually started process of its growing?..

Wasn't it stated somewhere that the creation of The Root (which we found in Sub 5 to be connected to both The Lighthouse of Sub 2 and the Ancient Ruins of Sub 0) was what triggered the outer rim's expansion, since "artificial submachine goes against Subgod"?

Or was that (Root creation --> Outer Rim expansion) a theory someone had?

Exactly, that's another reason why I thought that. If Submachine has created/absorbed different cultures, I think the only deity that would have power/meaning over all of them must be based on a syncretic concept.
