It's going to be released in the next few days?! Never in my life have I been happier to be wrong.

I say release it as soon as possible. That way, by the time the weekend comes, you've already had a couple extra days to pimp it and there will be word of mouth from the crazies who bought it the second it was released. I don't think there's any danger of it getting buried and forgotten if it's released before the weekend.

It's dangerous to ask the fans when they want something released. It's like asking a roomful of junkies when they'd like their next fix.
