Ener does looks normal, but it mentioned only a few times that there is a hole in his chest under the furry hides after getting stabbed by that Iranch back in the epic climatic battle of Chapter 4.

His heart is and still is missing, as well.

I think we discussed this a few pages back. Yeas, that would be a likely outcome, unless they could heal, ord ie to respawn unwounded.

In regards to respawning: we have no idea why Doctor Dodd respawned while Loeb didn't. Sure, Doctor Dodd was incinerated, but shouldn't Loeb have been vaporised in the explosion?

As I remember, Quall (with disembowelment) and Dodd (with burning the whole, and later, with flattening) DIED. And later revived theyselves, without any traces of wounds. Maybe Ener and Maddox did it too, before chapter 1.
But Loeb Foer (with exploding), as well as Elouf, did NOT come to state when they could die. (Well, I think, with second exploding Loeb the Jerk is gone with peace).

But I wonder: When Loeb exploded Iranch, the last one lost one of his tentacles, and as I understand, he stayed alive. But... why after became crushed to liquid pieces in Chapter 4, he later returned again WITHOUT one tentacle?

(I didn't read story long time, so I can confuse something...)

Let say that... the outcome depends on what happened before, during, and after the whole Situation. The ending may not be a happy one, even.

No, you pretty much got those deaths right.
I can confirm that anyone who "died" will be revived fresh and whole, at the cost of memories they earned in their "previous life."
Yes, even Ener and Maddox had died and came back to "life.", where we started off the whole thing in Chapter 1.

But I have to commend you for making some detailed observations about the circumstances surrounding their "deaths."

- Yes, Doctor Dodd came back from being burned into ashes. Somehow, he's whole again.
- Yes, Quall came back after being gutted on the examining table, with organs back and everything.
- But no, Loeb never got vaporized in the explosion in Chapter 4, so he's still alive into Chapter 6.
- If you noticed, Ener and Kelen went through the EXACT SAME SCENARIO in Chapter 5 when they got exploded in their faces from accidentally tampering with the machines in the wall. And they're surprisingly still alive.
- And you're also correct that Elouf was still alive despite being gutted open like Quall was. He grew weird tentacles in their places, though.

Also, I am afraid that you're incorrect about Loeb being gone for good after being exploded for a second time in the conclusion of Chapter 6. As I said previously, anyone who "died" will always come back fresh and whole. Will that mean we will see Loeb again? Maybe. Will he be a jerk again? Nah, he will starts over with clean slate, though Ener and Maddox lost a sure and valuable asset of using Loeb's experiences to navigate their way safely to the Bridge, thanks to Elouf.

Finally, you might be onto something with Iranch. Yes, it lost its tentacle, even after its "death".

Just curious, in the image with all the characters cloging up the screen, there is an arachnid being, is it Ka-Ley? Or an unknown character? Because as far I remember Ka-Ley was there with Maddox and Ener.
