What's wrong? Afraid of the cold?


<MADDOX>

Yeah, I am. It must be way below zero degree F and below 18 degrees C. My clothes aren't well insulated against the extreme cold and I could get frostbitten. Seems like Ener is doing fine down there.


<KELEN>

You forgot that his kinds are well built to withstand extreme cold and heat?


<MADDOX>

Gah... NOW I REMEMBER... Hey, Ener! Can you check for any useful items down there? And what you see down in the room?

There is a LARGE FREEZER to the west of room and it connected to some sort of weird PIPE MECHANISM that lead to upper, current, and lower floors. Only one pipe is directing the COLDNESS to the lower floor. The COLDNESS are also coming out of the FAN VENTILATION on the walls. The entire room is frozen and encased in thick ice. In the east of room, there is a HUGE DOOR that seems to be bolted shut with some sort of METAL BAR LOCKS. Also, there's something on the wall that is covered in PANEL with NUTS bolting it to wall.


Also, there are no items down here!

All empty!


<KELEN>

Ener! You see a FREEZER nearby?!


<ENER>

I see it. And why do I remember it as a FREEZER?


<KELEN>

Your memories are coming back, just little by little.


<MADDOX>

You seems to know quite a lot for just a head.


<KELEN>

<MADDOX>

<MADDOX>

Oh, he's way smarter than you think. Sometime I feel like I know what he's doing or want to do. Yes, we will lock Ulom in that FREEZER! Here's the plan:


1 - Open the FREEZER and leave a BAIT inside.

2 - Open the ROOM DOOR, but leave it only a crack open!

3 - Hide behind the FREEZER DOOR!

4 - Wait for Ulom to walk in and take the BAIT

5 - Once Ulom lunges into the FREEZER, close it shut and... umm...


<KELEN>

6 - Turn on the FREEZER CONTROL and turn the TEMPERATURE to near absolute zero.


<MADDOX>

That's the plan. How's that sounds?


<ENER>

Grawr! Like a Sage with a wielding staff!


<MADDOX + KELEN>

Uuhh... ok. Get ready and be careful, ok?

Ener, excuse me a minute, ok? Kelen, can you move out of the way, please? I want to check that ventilation behind me to the upper floor.


<KELEN>

<ACTIONS>

Maddox crawled back to the STORAGE ROOM VENTILATION and took a look under the UPPER GRATE. The air duct Maddox resides inside is very tight and couldn't get a good full 360 views. He could only make out fraction of the room.








Not satisfied, Maddox returned to the FREEZER ROOM VENTILATION.

Whoa there, Gusty! There is an imposed limit on the usage of running gags! Each get at least one per chapter and the trio feels there is no need for a PARTY! gag... yet.
