You can't shift to Ener because of the gravitational distortions within the Light Void! Doing it so would corrupts your computer monitor! So Maddox will observes instead. Maddox is sure that the DOORS closed by itself since Elouf already ran away like a coward. But then again, he could have used the COMPUTER in the PIPE ROOM and commanded the doors to close.
Anyway...
All Maddox can see is the fractured CORRIDOR that seems to be snapped in two with the other possibly floated off somewhere. Maddox certainly remember that this very CORRIDOR was used to be a perfect whole! How could that happens without anyone hearing the loud crunching noises? He can definitely see the other DOOR on the other side, but there's no way to get there without knowing HOW to get there in the first place.
Maddox is getting restless, knowing that Ulom is furiously banging at the door and there might be little to no time before Ulom decided to "eat" the DOORS as well.
Ener: Explain Void Physics to Maddox before he jumps.

I also explain that Maddox REFUSES to jump because he did NOT know the consequence of jumping into the Light Void would be and he rather NOT TAKE THE RISKS of jumping into it.
