Good idea! Maddox took his VALVE with, climbed down from the ceiling crawl-tunnel, and hurried to the COMPUTER to input the commands.

• COMMAND: MADDOX: Go back to the room and pull the right LEVER.

  Pass welder to ener.

  Weld patch in pipe.

  MADDOX:

  Once done, turn the pipe back on and try and drain the room again.

Ener acquired... Maddox's LIGHTER + WELDER SYNTHESIS!!!



Ener then wade through water with WELDER in his maw, reaching the LEAKING PIPE and begin repairing it, sealing the hole rather effectively





Then Ener wades back to the hole, shouting out to Maddox.

Nice. Let me try to drain the room from over here.


<ACTIONS>

And so Maddox returned to the ceiling crawl-tunnel and turn the VALVE back to ON POSITION. Suddenly, the water starting to flow again!





Hmmmm... the WATER LEVEL isn't receding... At least the newly-repaired WATER PIPE is holding just fine.

If not take the pipe on the floor and WELD it/connect back up the pipes spewing that glowing stuff.

Ener checks the FLOOR GRATE...


Well, it's kinda hard to pull the grate open while it submerged underwater, but it does feels kinda brittle. Perhaps there should be a way to get the grate open or have the water drained before doing anything with the grating.

Ener stood in the water, pondering...

Maddox knew with the pipe repaired and the water flowing again, the flooded room should be ready to be drained about right now!

  Turn on the power for both rooms and turn on the small display screen in the corridor.

  ENER: Destroy/Open/Kill the grate.

  MADDOX: Moonwalk.

While Maddox use his SUAVE TASTES to moonwalk toward the unknown contraption!

And finally inspecting the said contraption! Too bad that there's still no switch or button to turn it on.

Maddox isn't sure if he want to unplug the CORD since the lights will go out!
And he cannot see in the piercing darkness very well.
