Like, thank god if Submachine 9 release heightens up a bit the constructive activity in this forum.

The image Mateusz posted of Sub9 started a new discussion and have atracted Vortex and Anteroinen, whose activity droped down. I guess with hope that the release of Sub9 will definitively awake things here.

I know it's here and always will be. I just had a horrible semester. I'm on thanksgiving break and this is the first time I've been home even.

But also, has it really been that slow on the forum?

And really, I bet Mateusz remembers, but back a long time ago, when Soullock, Chaos/Raziel, The_Lone_Wanderer, and I all joined we probably averaged 4 posts a day total for all of us. It took it a good year and a lot more people before it was averaging hundreds of posts a day.

So that means that we're more active than when we started, or times have changed.

I suppose it's because now the one-comment guys are mostly in the Facebook page, or in the gamesite's own comment page. I guess that few years ago forums were much more extended than now, now the feedback system is rather shared among forums, social networks, etc.

Most of the members who stuck around with Revolutions returned, a few never did, or maybe they did return but under a new username and never divulged their identity.

The_Lone_Wanderer is an example.

Then now here we are, the third incarnation of the community forum and that is what it feels like. A community that moved from one board to another. How often do you see one time posters, like we had on Bbpress Pastel? How often do we get a new user into the community, like Rulo, Alamos, Kakama, Abacus. Not very often. In terms of users registering, it seems like we have more veteran users from the past two forums registering than new members.

In Facebook I see members that actually wasn't that active in the forum (like Seaflower and Eastwood)

I think the people that uses Facebook for Pastel stuff are people that only wants to ear stuff from Mateusz, not to discuss.

There is also the Subreddit, but i don't think is that impacting as there is not much members there.

I think I'm the latest user on reaching the 1000 posts in the overall forum story, but we can't spect any new user now, because registration is closed
