just got home from picking up a new computer. its a dell inspiron. it was $296. on sale and cheap. regular price is around $450.

Man... Why stuff needs to double the price when they sell them here ?

the only downside i see to this new laptop is windows 8... i tried out windows 8 on a friends computer, didn't like it.. now wondering, should i go out and buy windows 7 and install it, or just suffer through with windows 8...

Yeah, I've been getting that advertisement about Windows 8, and I can't say I've felt enamoured by the iPhone like graphics and arrangement of windows. Just, no.

windows 8 sucks, i'm going to go out next week and buy windows 7 and then wipe and install onto this hard drive.

Just a warning, some manufacturers lock their system to only run with the OS it came from factory with. And I believe that was a requirement for windows 8 (It's was a lock on the BIOS, sometimes it is easy to turn off)
